Cricket is a sport for All Abilities

The Melbourne All Abilities Cricket Association (MAACA) was formed from the desire to provide the opportunity for people of all backgrounds with an intellectual disability to be involved in cricket. The competition is split into 3 Divisions.  Our Club has fielded a team in the 3rd Division since 2016.  The game has an emphasis on participation, with a modified format and softer ball.  The team is open to older teens and adults of all ages, male and female.  During the summer season we train on Thursdays 4:45pm at Eltham College main oval, with some indoor preseason sessions starting in September.  There are generally 6 matches during the season on Sunday mornings from October to February, with a break for the summer holidays.
